We are looking for a Construction Manager.

Tasks and responsabilities

  • Manage all stages of development projects, from drawing to construction
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team (project managers, estimation, superintendents)
  • Support project managers, superintendents, and the estimation department in the coordination of the various projects as a whole
  • Monitor the monthly costs of his team’s projects
  • Make site visits
  • Supervise the project schedule
  • Manage major conflicts, pitfalls caused by different projects with project managers
  • Support project managers during the analysis and awarding of contracts as well as for the analysis of extras and modifications to subcontractors’ contracts
  • Rigorous monitoring of the various budgets and timelines of current projects
  • Support the team during subcontractor and professional site meetings
  • Be involved during the first meetings and / or coordination meetings with professionals and / or clients
  • Establish and maintain the necessary communications with partners, subcontractors and professionals
  • Supervise and manage the progress of work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with the requirements
  • See to the development and training of his team
  • Participate in the planning and value engineering of projects
  • Participate in the granting of contracts
  • Presentation of project progress to financial partners
  • All other related tasks

Required experience

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in construction or civil engineering
  • Have at least 15 years of relevant experience in the construction of multi-storey projects and have managed projects of 50 million and more
  • Experience in financial management and cost monitoring
  • Knowledge of Maestro and Office Suite software
  • Perfectly bilingual
