Senior Estimator

We are looking for a Senior Estimator.

• Analyze and interpret plans and specifications (Architecture, Structure, Civil, Mechanical and Electrical)
• Analyze and interpret the reports and studies specific to each project
• Prepare construction budgets for the different projects
• Develop specific scope of work for different projects and specialties
• Prepare calls for tenders for each of the mandates to be granted
• Oversee the follow-up of calls for tenders and ensure compliance with grant deadlines
• Collaborate with professionals and project manager to frame the choices made according to established budgets
• Oversee the bid analysis and make recommendations
• Participate in the negotiation of the various mandates to be granted
• Maintain the updated cost price assessment of the different specialties
• Ensure that all the information relevant to each of the projects is collected and that the information is transferred to the estimation team
• Develop statistics relevant to different projects and develop an evolutionary basis for the preparation of future budget
• Collaborate in the formatting of standard documents for the company
• All other related tasks

• Hold a college or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, or construction
• More than 5 years of experience in estimating in multi-storey residential
• Reading of plans and advanced specifications
• Excellent command of the Office Suite
• Perfect command of French and English, both oral and written
• Perfectly bilingual
